Thanks for your comment Lipika. Bengalees are undoubtedly madly in love with travelling! The cartoon above is just a culmination of observations over a number of trips.

And all the best with your plans. Though you’ll need some contacts in place, preferably army, to get hold of a permit for tso lhamu, as it’s not possible to arrange for one through a travel agency.

Saw a pic of tso lhamu on the wall of one of hotels we stayed in, and nothing would come close to the feeling of seeing it in person. cheers.
